Chong-De Great Blessings and Infinite Generations of Enduring Legacy Volunteers from Taichung and Changhua Joined the Event with Passions

In memory of the 5th anniversary of Bu-Xiu-Xi Bodhisattva's  attaining Buddhahood, Fa-Yi Chong-De held an activity ," Chong-De Great Blessings and Infinite Generations of Enduring Legacy" at Taipei arena. An audience of more than fifteen thousand spectators joined in passionately on that day. Among them, there were four thousand Tao members from abroad.

December 9th was a big day for Fa-Yi Chong-De. All Tao members thanked Bu-Xiu-Xi Bodhisattva who had sacrificed her lifetime in devoted service to spreading Tao. They held an extravagant celebration to commemorate the 5th year of Bu-Xiu-Xi Bodhisattva's attaining Buddhahood .

In order to show their adoration of Bu-Xiu-Xi Bodhisattva, Tao members from Taichung and Changhua put on a wonderful performance that included 480 volunteers who took on roles as actors and actresses, as well as volunteer staff.

The 12 and a half minute- program was divided into five sections, each focusing on a different kind of motivation to make Tao everlasting. The performance also portrayed a theme of global unity -- that we are all one family. The performers wanted to welcome the Tao members from abroad and make them feel the joy of this Global Fa-Yi Chong De family.

The performance began with drumbeating that captivated the audience's attention. The theme of the performance was written in calligraphy and projected on the big screen behind the performers. Then, performers entered the stage carrying the Chong-De flag and nine torches, which symbolized the world and its nine continents. National flags of each of the participating countries were unrolled and left draping along the two sides of the auditorium. A Tao transmitting master appeared on stage, waving his hands to the left and the right. Lights were lit up, which represents the lighting up all sentient beings hearts, with its source being the holy lamp.

Next, a group of Tai Chi swordsmen entered the stage. They represented Bai-Shui Sheng-Di's spirit (白水聖帝), showing to the audience the martial arts of Yin and Yang. It also alluded to how Tao members must adapt themselves (剛柔並濟) in order to conquer various problems that they will encounter when propagating Tao.

Performers danced with colored ribbons that made the form of an eternal wheel. Their synchronicity demonstrated how Tao members must cooperate, and how the numerous divisions of Fa-Yi Chong De must work together.

At the end of the program, thousands of audience member's hearts brimmed with emotions while countless lights were lit.

The joint success of Taichung and Changhua's Tao communities stemmed from their integrative teamwork.
